Sorry, if you received this in your email several times. I couldn't get the link in the second paragraph to work right.
Feeling good again today. Cooked Hamburger Helper Crunchy Taco for lunch. It’s apparently not as bad for you as the salad Kelly and I had last night. Ironically, if you’re going to make a salad taste good it becomes worse for you to eat than something like grilled chicken, rice, and steamed vegetables. Heck, you could probably even steam your vegetables in margarine and still be better off.
Some of you who have been reading this have been wondering about what exactly I’m doing in regards to my diet. So, I’m going to lay it all out. My biggest problem, other than the weight is the fact that I am diabetic. I am greatly watching my sugar intake. I’m also steering clear of not eating anything fried, and I’ve cut back on potato consumption (as it turns to sugar when digested). In addition I am also watching my calorie intake. I’m keeping track of my weightloss and eating / exercising habits at http://www.myfitnesspal.com/johnjon99. It’s a great website. If you want to visit my page there you can…but really it’s targeted for people who are wanting to lose weight; kind of like a support club for fatties (such as I).
I’m also watching my caffeine intake. I had wondered why I should do this until Kay (my friend and ex-coworker) told me that caffeine makes you feel hungry. With that said I’m going to cut WAY back on caffeine and perhaps I won’t get the hungry feeling as much anymore.
I don’t have much else to say other than, “MAN WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUTSIDE TODAY!”
