October 23 - October 25

I never in my life thought I would be so repulsed by eating anything. Today (October 25) was probably one of the worst days of the diet I am presently on. Had I not burnt the heck-fire out of the ribeye steaks I bought it might have been better. But, the worst thing about today was eating the tomatoes. Don't get my wrong, I do love home grown tomatoes, but I HATE (apparently) store bought round red things that are labeled tomatoes. I felt like regurgitating it was so horrible.

At-any-rate, I'm glad today is over with. I will most likely try to down the less burnt steaks that I cooked today for lunch tomorrow and then eat out somewhere for dinner in order to get me some semi-good steak or hamburger steak. That's tomorrow though. Let me get back to the 23rd and 24th.

The 23rd was veggies and fruit day (if I recall correctly). It was okay... I made me up a salad with baby cucumbers, lettuce, vinegar and a splash of freshly squeezed orange juice (straight from the orange). It was actually fairly good.

I can honestly say, my favorite day is the 4th day of this diet. I LOVE the banana shake! Thanks to my friend Jeff for the idea on this!!! It's sooooo good! Here's what you do! Oh, did I mention this is almost completely FAT FREE? The only fat is 0.5 grams per banana! That's not bad at all!!!

Almost Fat Free Banana Smoothie Shake:
1. Pour about a cup of skim milk in a blender.
2. Add 2 peeled bananas.
3. Add about 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of Splenda (depending on your taste...I'd start with a half though).
4. Add about 2 handfuls of ice.
5. Blend until ice has been completely crushed.
6. Pour into a large glass and enjoy.
7. You might have to shake the glass around a bit to keep it all mixed up, but it's worth it.
Extras: You may also experiment with cinnamon and nutmeg to add to the flavor!!!
